How to Decrypt DVD with DVDFab DVD Copy?

If you want to decrypt DVD discs in order to make it accessible for copy, backup or clone for home entertainment, you can use DVDFab DVD Copy to do all of them once for all. Next is how to do it.


Step 1: Start up DVDFab 9 to go to Copy option

Start up DVDFab 9, and choose Copy option, then you’ll see the main interface for copy. There’re many copy modes, you can freely choose from Full Disc, Main Movie, Customize, Split, Merge, and Clone/Burn. Let’s use Main Movie for example.


Step 2: Insert DVD disc for DVDFab to decrypt

Now just insert the DVD disc you want to decrypt into optical drive, and DVDFab will analyze it and load it in.


Once it’s in, the DVD is then successfully decrypted.


Step 3: Do some configurations for copy, backup and more

You can see the decrypted DVD movie in the program as below, and the longest movie title is selected by default. You can change audio tracks and subtitles right here. And you can preview the title in real time with the built-in preview window in the right part of the interface. In the lower part, you can choose Output type from DVD5 and DVD9 with or without compression.


Step 4: Start copy or burn

Now that the DVD has been decrypted and you’ve set up everything, just click Next button to the next interface to choose” Save to” manner to backup DVD on HDD or burn it into a blank disc.


You have 3 choices about how or where to save the output. Choose the writer, then you can burn it; choose the folder icon to select a directory on your hard drive for the DVD Folder backup; choose the image icon, and go on to select a directory on your hard drive, then the output DVD will be saved as an ISO image file on your computer.


Once you’ve decided how to save the output, you can hit Start button to start the process.


During the process, you can see all progress detail and preview images. You can also choose “Exit Program” or “Shut Down”, if you like, to tell the program what to do when all tasks are done.
