  • DVDFab 8:
    on starting up, freshmen cannot tell what DVDFab is all about.
    DVDFab 9:
    officially referred as Flash Window, the startup screen looks much more fashionable, and filled with modern elements, even first-time users can tell DVDFab has something to do with movies.
    DVDFab 8:
    the Main Interface is clean and tidy, which has 5 basic sections.
    1). Left side: sports a Navigation Panel;
    2). Top section: houses the source and target selection area;
    3). Central & right section: shows title, audio and caption information on the disc;
    4). Bottom section: shows output size or profile;
    5). Bottom left corner: harbors a preview window.
    DVDFab 9:
    the left navigation panel you see on version 8 is gone, and in replacement, we have an Option Bar on the top; an “+Add” button near the top left corner; a Task Queue button near the top right corner; a Mode/Profile Switcher at the upper left, an Operation Window at the central section.
    DVDFab 8:
    1).Insert DVD/Blu-ray disc into DVD/Blu-ray drive;
    2). Click the yellow folder icon at top right corner to add movie folders;
    3). Click the disc icon at top right corner to add ISO files;
    4). Click the film icon to add single video files.
    DVDFab 9:
    Click "Add Button" near the top left corner of the main interface, or at the central of the Operation Window to browse your media directory on computer HDD (DVD/Blu-ray movie folders, ISO image files or any other digital media files), or access a real disc from DVD/Blu-ray drives.
    DVDFab 8:
    1). Click the downward triangle to select the DVD/Blu-ray drive (Burner or writer);
    2). Click the yellow folder or disc icon to output movie folder or ISO file onto computer HDD respectively;
    DVDFab 9:
    The default target for Copy option is your writer/burner, and a folder on HDD for Ripper, Converter and Creator options. Click the folder icon or ISO icon behind "Save to" box to output to computer HDD as movie folder, ISO files, or other video files.
    DVDFab 8:
    Just use the left side Navigation Panel to choose which product you wanna use, its easy and simple.
    DVDFab 9:
    Click four option tabs from the Option Bar at the Main Interface.
    Note: In version 9, all the copy tools share one interface, so do the Ripper, Converter and Creator Tools.
    DVDFab 8:
    Same as product navigation, you just need to use the left side Navigation Panel to move from one work mode to another under the same product option
    DVDFab 9:
    1). Click the Mode Switcher to choose a copy mode in copy and creator tools;
    2). Similarly, to Ripper & Converter Tools, you need click the Profile Switcher to select a profile.
    DVDFab 8:
    Click the green radio button with a check mark at the top right corner of the Main Interface to call up Common Settings Panel
    DVDFab 9:
    Click the Help Button available near the top right corner of Main Interface, and then click "Common Settings" tab.
    DVDFab 8:
    Click the "Edit" button available at the Main Interface of ripper and converter tools to show up Conversion Settings Panel
    DVDFab 9:
    In DVDFab 9, Conversion Settings is renamed as Advanced Settings, just click the "Advanced Settings" button available right under the Profile Switcher of Ripper and Converter Tools.
    DVDFab 8:
    Click "Video Effect Settings" button at the Ripper and Converter Main Interface or Conversion Settings Panel

    Click "Edit" button available near the upper left corner of the Main Interface, next to the “+Add” button in Ripper and Converter Tools.

    Click Next button, whether you have special requirements or not, before you actually let go the backup process, which is, to some basic users, meaningless.

    We usher in the "Advanced Settings" panel for those experienced users who need special requirements. For common users, just click the Start button to begin the backup process.

    Click the "Title Start/End settings" button at the DVDFab Main Interface to bring up Chapter Selection Panel, in case you wanna just a few range of chapters from a movie to copy or convert.
    DVDFab 9:
    You just select the title you wanna copy or convert, then click on the chapter number to call up the chapter selection columns—those two tiny black triangle buttons.
    DVDFab 8:
    Choose the audio track(s) and subtitle stream(s) you wanna retain at the Audio & Subtitle sections available at the Main Interface.
    DVDFab 9:
    Similar to chapter selection, you just click on the audio and subtitle selection boxes at the Operation Window to choose exactly which audio(s) and subtitle stream(s) you wanna keep.
    DVDFab 8:
    Click the Triangle button at the bottom left corner of the Main Interface to show up the Preview window, and then click your desired movie title to preview, double click on the preview window will jump to full screen, double click again to exit full screen
    DVDFab 9:
    Hover the mouse pointer over a certain title, a Play button will show up, between the title checkbox and the left edge of the Operation Window. Click the Play button, then that specific title shall start to play in a separate display window.
    DVDFab 8:
    1). Install DVDFab onto computer, then double click the key file to register;
    2). Install DVDFab onto computer, then open the key by Windows Notepad or Word, next, copy & paste the key codes into the registration area on the Welcome Screen
    DVDFab 9:
    1). DVDFab introduces the advanced online verification method for registration to make your license information more secure. You need register in DVDFab Member Center first, and then register DVDFab 9.
    2). Click the Help button near the top right corner of Main Interface, and then click "Activate" tab to show the Registration Window, next, enter the required information to activate the software.
