Convert Blu-ray to PS3

DVDFab Blu-ray Ripper can convert Blu-rays to various video formats compatible on various devices. This tutorial is about how to use it to convert a Blu-ray to the popular PS3. Come with me to have a look.

1. Choose Ripper option in DVDFab, and select PS3 profile

Fire up DVDFab at first, then choose Ripper option. Now navigate to the left panel to click on the profile icon to bring about all supported profiles. Go to Device -> Sony to choose PS3 profile.

2. Load in the Blu-ray you want to convert

Insert the disc or click the Add button to load in the source. Or drag and drop the file from your PC into the program. A second later you will see the movie is in, with the longest title selected by default. You can change the audio tracks and subtitles of the highlighted title and you can preview it in real time if you need. Unfolding Other Titles will give you more choices of the title selection. But normally, the longest movie title can serve enough.

3. Set and edit

On the left panel you can go to set the file size, and the video quality changes accordingly.

Click Advanced Settings button and you can change nearly all the audio and video parameters like codec, resolution, encoding method, volume, channel, etc .

Click Edit button and Video Edit window pops up. Then you can check the video info there, trim and crop the video, add watermark, and add external subtitles.

4. Start conversion

Alright. Now hit the Start button to start conversion. You can see all detailed progress info, and you can even set your PC to exit the program, hibernate or shut down if you would like, for the moment all tasks are done.

OK. Done.
