How to Use DVDFab Mac Blu-ray Player to Play BD on Mac?

DVDFab Mac Blu-ray Player is a multi-function player software, and playing BD on Mac is one of its powerful features. And nearly any newly released BD can also be played smoothly. Next is a step-by-step tutorial about how to play BD on Mac with it. Just download and install this program on your Mac, then follow me through the BD playback tour.

Play BD on Mac Step 1: Start up DVDFab Mac Blu-ray Player

After the download and installation of DVDFab Mac Blu-ray Player, a shortcut will appear on the desktop. Double click on the shortcut to start it up.

Play BD on Mac Step 2: Load in BD

When you come to the main interface of this player, you’ll see an “Open File” option, which is used to open movie files. In this tutorial, we’re not using this option.

We just directly insert BD into an external Blu-ray drive (need to have an external Blu-ray drive connected to your Mac beforehand). Then the player will read the disc and load it in. As soon as the loading process completed, you’ll see the BD icon besides the “Open File” icon on the UI.

Play BD on Mac Step 3: Choose a play mode

Now time to click on the icon to play this BD. And you need to choose a play mode from the two modes provided by this player, one is “Quick & Simple Mode”, the other is “Full Navigation Mode”.

Following is the detail about these two modes.

“Quick & Simple Mode” allows you to only play the main movie title by clicking “Play” button, or to choose any other movie title to play in “Other Titles” list. And before the play, you can view some basic movie info directly at the interface of this mode, such as Director, Genres, Year, Actors, Plot, and so on.

“Full Navigation Mode” then gives you full Blu-ray navigation and control experience, just like control on a standalone Blu-ray player.

Play BD on Mac Step 4: Control and set during the playback

When the BD is being played, you can control the play by hovering mouse on the bottom of the screen to bring about a control bar including the following controls: Pause, Stop, Play, Volume up, Volume down, Fast forward, Fast backward.

If you want to play in a full screen mode, just hover mouse on the top of the screen to bring about another control bar to set.

If you want to do more settings, just right click on the screen, then a settings panel will pop up. At there, you can open another file, open another disc, control play, set audio, set subtitles, and more.

OK. Done. Playing BD on Mac with DVDFab Mac Blu-ray Player is darn easy, right? For more info about this Mac player, please go to: http://www.dvdfab.cn/mac-blu-ray-player.htm
