Drag and drop your video files on the application main screen or use the + icon in the center of the screen to add the files.
There is a +Add from Local button in the top section of the application as well which you can use to load the files or make use of the +Add from Online button to download files from the internet and then load it in the application.
You will need to install a small utility called the Video Downloader of DVDFab to be able to download and load the files. You can download files from YouTube, Instagram, Vimeo and many other places.
Click on the Profile Switcher button and then select the Blu-ray Creator profile from the available options.
If your input files have multiple Audio or Subtitles associated with it, by default all of them will make their way in the output Blu-ray. Rather, you can save some space by selecting the Audio track and Subtitles you want to the part of the generated Blu-ray.
This step is optional and is only required if you want to select the Menu you want to add to your Blu-ray. Click on the Set Menu icon and select the Menu you want to use in your Blu-ray.
You can choose the Menu you like from the right side of the section. There is also a Download More button you can use to download more Menu styles for free. There is a Preview button available that will show you how that Menu will look on Blu-ray you are burning.
Note: Preview feature is not available on Mac.
The Menus add a touch of professionalism to your output Blu-rays. The list of Menus is limited at any point of time but are periodically updated to keep the design in sync with the modern UI designs. No matter which Menu template you choose, all of them will allow switching between subtitles and audios while the video is playing.
The best thing about this is that the Menu is actually customizable and any professional user can add widgets, change background image, change text font, size or color and personalize all the elements of the Menu quite easily. And as mentioned before, there is a Preview button available which you can use to see how your customizations are actually going to look.
This step is also optional and is only required if you want to modify some Advanced Settings Volume Label, Output type, Video Quality or Playback mode before you burn video to Blu-ray.
Use the Advanced Settings option to open the window for making settings that will be applied to the whole Blu-ray output.
You can choose the Output type from the one available to you from the dropdown like BD50, BD25 1080p/i, BD9 1080p/i, BD9 720p, BD5 1080p/i and BD5 720p. Select the video quality or leave it to default as Fit to Disc. Select how you want to set the playback mode - start with the Menu and play all titles sequentially, start with the first title and play all others sequentially and rewind at the end or just play the selected track and then return to the Menu. Click on OK once you have done all the settings.
You have the option to burn video to Blu-ray ISO, disc or folder. You can do so by selecting the available icons in front of the Save to section available at the bottom. A default directory for saving the output is also specified which you can change by clicking the same icons.
That leaves only the last step in how to make Blu-ray movies on Win/Mac and that is to hit the Start button to start the creation process of the Blu-ray. You can also use the dropdown button appearing right next to the Start button to schedule the tasks to start later. In either case, you will be redirected to the Task Queue section of the application where you can monitor the progress of the task if you have clicked on the Start button or see the task in the Scheduled tab where you can change the scheduled time of the task.
Once the task completes you can find the output folder or ISO in the folder path you specified in the Save to section or if you have burned the disc then there.
The steps on how to make Blu-ray movies on Mac are exactly the same as on Windows except that the Preview feature is not available in the Menu section.
