Convert Blu-ray to WMV video

DVDFab Blu-ray Ripper can be used to convert a Blu-ray movie into a WMV video with fast speed and high quality. It’s neat that all video/audio parameters are customizable. This tutorial is going to show you how easy it is to use this Blu-ray to WMV converter.

1. Run DVDFab, choose Ripper, then select the WMV profile

Run DVDFab and go to the Ripper option. Navigate to the left panel to choose the profile icon, and you’ll open the profile library, where you can go to Format -> Video to select the WMV profile.

2. Load the Blu-ray source

Insert the BD you want to convert into the Blu-ray optical drive your PC connected to, or click Add button to add the digital source into DVDFab, and seconds later you will see the movie is in with the longest main title auto selected. You can also choose other titles to convert. You can change the audio tracks and subtitles for the selected titles. The first and last chapters can be freely set so that you can convert just any part you want. And all settings can be previewed in real time.

3. Set parameters and effect

Click Advanced Settings button under the profile icon on the left panel so that you can go to change all the video and audio parameters like codec, resolution, video quality, audio channels, volume, bit rate, etc.

Click Edit button to open Video Edit window, where you can trim and crop the video, add watermark to the video, and choose external subtitles.

Step 4: Start conversion

After all settings are OK, specify a storage path for saving the output then press the Start button. During the conversion process you can view detailed progress info. And soon after, this will be done.
