DVDFab DVD Copy - Merge
Merge is one of DVD Copy’s 6 copy modes and is very useful for flexible copy and backup. One can use this mode to merge several titles from different DVD sources into one disc or one folder or an ISO image file. Read on for a detailed tutorial about how to merge DVDs.
1. Choose Merge mode in Copy option
Start DVDFab, navigate to Copy option, then click on the copy mode icon to go to select the mode of Merge.
2. Load in the DVDs and do settings
Drag and drop all the DVD movie files from your PC into the grogram. Or insert the DVD discs into the optical drive of your PC and/or connected external drives.
For each loaded source, you can see the longest movie title is selected by default. If you want to copy other titles, just choose Other Titles.
After all the source DVD movies are imported in, just click Next button, and you can see all the movie titles from all the sources you want to copy. And you can also preview them, change their start and end chapters, subtitles and audio tracks if you would like.
On the left panel of the interface, you can change the volume label, and you can also choose the output size as DVD9 or DVD5 with compression ratio provided.
3. Start copy
Before starting the copy process, there is one last thing you need to make sure about – the target/ output directory. If you want to burn these titles into a disc, please choose a write drive. If you want to save the output as a movie folder on your PC, please choose a folder directory, and if an ISO image file, please choose an ISO directory.
After that, hit Start button to begin copy process.
If the output is set to be a disc, you will be asked to insert a disc to start write process. Just insert a DVD5 or a DVD9 blank disc according to the output size you have set. Then copy process begins.
If the output is set to be a folder or an ISO image file, the copy process begins directly and you can see detailed progress info. And you can set your PC to exit the program, hibernate or shut down for the moment the task is done.
OK. That’s it.
Tip: For playing back the copied DVD, you can use DVDFab Media Player.
