Convert Blu-ray to AVI
This tutorial is about how to use DVDFab Blu-ray Ripper (3D Plus) to convert Blu-ray to AVI for playback with specific player or device. Please follow me step by step.
1. Choose Ripper option and select AVI profile
Start DVDFab and choose Ripper option. Then navigate to the top left part to click the profile icon, and you can see all supported profiles by Ripper option. Now go to Format->Video to select AVI as the target profile.
2. Import in the Blu-ray source
Insert the BD, or drag and drop the Blu-ray file on your PC into the program to load in the movie.
3. Some settings
After the movie is in, you can see the longest movie title is automatically selected. You can preview the title, and also can change its subtitles and audio tracks if you would like. If you want to choose other titles to convert, just click the cross icon of “Other Titles” to unfold all the other titles. And on the bottom left panel, you can see detailed info of the source.
About Advanced Settings:
Click Advanced Settings button on the main interface to open Advanced Settings window, where you can set all video and audio parameters like codec, resolution, frame rate, encoding method, video quality, audio channels, volume, bit rate and more.
You can also set video effect by clicking Edit button on the main interface to open Video Effect window. Here you can trim and crop the video, add watermark to the video, set subtitles, etc.
4. Start conversion
Hit Start button to start conversion and you can view detailed progress info during the process. OK. Done.
