Convert DVD to iPad and iPad2

This tutorial is about how to convert your DVD content to your iPad compatible videos using DVDFab DVD Ripper, which supports all sorts of iPad devices and is easy to use and the output quality is outstanding. Now follow me to the details.

1. Start DVD Ripper, choose your favorite iPad profile

Start DVDFab, and navigate to Ripper option. On the left panel you can see the current profile. If it’s not what you want, just click on the profile and you will bring about all supported profiles including various devices and formats. You need to go to choose a profile for your iPad in Device -> Apple as shown below.

2. Load in the DVD source

Insert the DVD you want to copy to optical drive, or drag and drop the DVD file from your PC into the program, seconds later, the source will be in.

3. Settings and customizing

The longest movie title will be selected by default. Highlight the title and you can re-select the title content by chapters, change its audio tracks and subtitles, and preview it in real time. If you would like to choose other titles to copy as well, just unfold Other Titles.

You can also define the video quality and file size in the bottom left corner. Note that the higher the video quality is, the larger the output size will be.

Click Advanced Settings button to open Advanced Settings window, where you can set up all video and audio parameters like codec, resolution, frame rate, encoding method, video quality, audio channel, volume, bit rate, ect.

Click Edit button then you will open Video Edit window, where you can trim and crop the video, add watermark to the video, change subtitles, etc.

4. Start conversion

OK. Now hit Start button on the main interface to begin conversion process. You can view detailed progress info during the process. Soon after, you will be able to watch your DVD on your iPad.
