Convert Blu-ray to MKV
Welcome to the tutorial about how to rip and convert Blu-ray to MKV video with DVDFab Blu-ray Ripper. MKV is the video format we use frequently. Just follow this tutorial and you will learn how to do Blu-ray to MKV conversion easily.
1. Choose Ripper option in DVDFab, and go to choose MKV profile
Start up DVDFab, and go to choose Ripper mode on the ribbon. Then navigate to the left panel to click on the profile icon and you can see all supported format and device profiles. Now click Format, then Video, then go to choose the MKV profile.
2. Load in the source
Insert the Blu-ray disc, or click Add button to load in the Blu-ray file, or just drag and drop the file into DVDFab, then about one second later you can see the longest movie title is automatically selected, with other titles in.
You can preview the title in real time, re-arrange its start and end chapters, and choose subtitles and audio tracks. If you want to choose other titles as well, just unfold Other Titles to select as you like.
3. Customize and set up
On the left panel, you can change the file size and video quality. Please note that the larger the file is, the higher the video quality.
Click Advanced Settings button to set nearly all video and audio parameters if you would like.
Click Edit button to open Video Edit window where you can check the video info, trim and crop the video, add watermark to the video, load in external subtitles and so on.
4. Start conversion
OK. Now go ahead to hit the Start button. During the whole process you can view detailed progress info and set the PC to shut down, exit the program, or hibernate for the moment all tasks are done.
