With the newly released DVDFab, users will be able to tackle some new Java protection issues and a couple of most recent DVDs that fail the previous version. To some Cinavia affected users who are probably finding difficulty in handling the Cinavia watermarks appeared on the Allegiant (US version), Spotlight (2015), Dope (2015), Zero Dark Thirty, The End of the Tour, Adventures in Zambezia and A Single Shot, a simple update to this new version will have the problems nailed. Also included in the newly added list are the option to select much smaller font sizes when adding the external subtitles, and the support to output PCM audio track in conversion profile optimized for the FUJIFILM.

In the fixes list, DVDFab fixes an .m2ts file missing problem when compressing a Bly-ray full disc to BD25 size in certain cases, a problem that the conversion speed is slowed down when converting Blu-rays to DVDs with CUDA enabled in certain cases, a green screen problem when converting Blu-rays to mp4 files with IQS GPU enabled in certain cases, a problem that the frame rate turns to 24 fps after converting file sources of 29.97 fps to DVD/Blu-ray in certain cases, and some other minor changes and improvements.
