DVDFab for Windows Gets Released

Fengtao Software Inc. has today released DVDFab for Windows platform. The new version comes out mainly fixing a few minor bugs that might be bothering some users in the previous version. Read on for the detailed information.

In the past a few days, developers at Fengtao Software Inc. were notified via email by a couple of Bitdefender users across several countries that their anti-virus products were constantly reporting DVDFab might potentially harm their computers. Upon hearing this, our developers immediately tried to replicate the issue on our testing machines and fortunately they were able to locate and fix the issue at a very short time – it turned out that it was the BluPath.exe that was causing the false positive alert. Those who were being bothered by this issue recently can now update to version, as the problem has been gone for good.

Aside from the above-mentioned false positive alert, developers also fixed a failure problem when converting DVDs/Blu-rays to mp4 videos with CUDA enabled in certain cases, and a problem that the Merge feature does not work when outputting AAC audios in MP4 and MKV profiles, together with some other minor changes and improvements.

To update to DVDFab for Windows, you can either make a direct live update from within the software client itself, or manually download the executable file from DVDFab’s official website and then do a fresh installation. The download link is available at
