DVDFab 10.0.1.2 for Windows Is Officially Released
Fengtao Software on Tuesday Nov. 29 released DVDFab 10.0.1.2, another minor official update to its all-new DVDFab 10. In this new version, developers added the support to remove the Cinavia watermarks found on two Blu-ray titles, brought two notable features back from version 9, and fixed a couple of minor bugs. Move on for the detailed information.
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn (UK version) and The Durrells in Corfu are the two newly reported Blu-ray titles by users that employ the Cinavia watermark protection in the audio tracks. Now with version 10.0.1.2, users are able to produce high-quality backups with the Blu-ray copy software, Blu-ray ripper software or Blu-ray to DVD converter software to completely get rid of the annoying Cinavia thing.
Also worth mentioning is the comeback of the two amazing features from DVDFab 9, the Meta Info feature and the Video Downloader feature. In case you forget what those two features do, here is a quick reflection. The Meta Info presents users detailed title information along with all the other Blu-ray movie metadata as soon as a disc is opened so that they know exactly which title to go with. The Video Downloader is an add-on that downloads videos from popular websites such as Youtube, vimeo, metacafe, FC2, veho, niconico and B9Dm. These two great features have been missing in the first releases of version 10 and now those who’ve been missing them in the past few weeks shall be happy to see them back again.
Besides, developers also updated the language files, improved the software stability and the support for the Customize and Merge modes in the Blu-ray Copy module, and fixed a problem that the task finishing dialog does not pop up in time after the conversion/copy task finishes in certain cases and another problem that the “Remove HD Audio” option is missing in the Blu-ray Copy module.
To update to DVDFab 10.0.1.2 for Windows, you can either make a direct live update from within the software client itself, or manually download the executable file from DVDFab’s official website and then do a fresh installation. The download link is available at www.dvdfab.cn/download.htm
